I have been in the optical world for just over 20 years and am a registered optician and contact lens practitioner. I am also a regular examiner for the licensing exam for new opticians.
I live in Sherwood Park with my husband Ben, our son Locklin, and our shih tzu’s Fitz and Winston. Upon entering the Vision Parlour, you will be greeted by a picture of Dealey over top of the fireplace. Dealey is our soul-mutt that crossed that rainbow bridge way too soon at the age of 4 due to cancer.
The Vision Parlour is my first experience as an owner but it has always been a dream that is now a reality (Yikes!). The concept is simple but with purpose. We want you to feel comfortable the moment you walk in. You won’t be immediately overwhelmed with wall-to-wall eyewear. Purchasing eyewear can be daunting whether you’ve been wearing them your entire life or getting into your first pair. Comfort and trust are of utmost importance in meeting your styling and function goals. This needs to be an exciting and positive experience!
When people hear “Boutique” they often correlate it to high prices. Not the case!! Boutique in our world means we are not tied into purchasing contracts like many of the large corporate entities. We are free to explore any eyewear crafter throughout the world! This brings to you the most unique styles that accommodate all budgets! My passion is styling my clients. We’re also free to choose our own design and decor within the store. Add this all up, and a boutique is all about you!
